Jacqueline Dena Guber | Barbara Walters’ Daughter | Entrepreneur and Advocate

Known as the only daughter of veteran journalist Barbara Walters, Jacqueline Dena Guber has remained quite reserved about her private life until recently. She was adopted by Walters and her husband Lee Guber shortly after she was born in 1968. While her adopted parents made investments towards her upbringing, Jacqueline’s circumstances during childhood led to her troubled teenage years. In turn, this greatly affected her adult life. Eventually, her mother did an intervention to help her, and it has worked. While Jacqueline had a minor run-in with the law in recent years, she has mostly maintained a content and happy life.

Currently, she runs a wilderness program called New Horizons in Maine. The organization focuses on therapy for people who suffered from substance abuse. When Jacqueline’s not busy with her advocacy, she also takes care of her mother ever since her retirement from the TV industry years ago.
