Let’s face it! Our lives would be boring without the constant amusement Hollywood celebrities bring. Sure, there are other things to be excited about, but anticipating and talking about something much bigger than our little lives brings some degree of entertainment that we don’t usually experience from just living out our daily routines. Of course, we know it’s not nice to laugh at someone’s embarrassment, but when it comes to celebrities, we simply cannot help it. A TUMULTUOUS CLIMB
We all know that winning an Oscar is not an easy task. Even a mere nomination would bring a large degree of honor to any actor or actress. However, when Jennifer Lawrence’s moment came in the 2013 Academy Awards, her entrance was somewhat far from honorable. While the actress was on her way to receive her much-coveted golden man trophy, she accidentally tripped on her beautiful Dior dress and fell on her face at the stairs. It sure was embarrassing, but we bet it made her win even more memorable. Now, every time the Hunger Games star looks at that trophy, she’d be reminded of her dreadful ascent towards her golden Oscars.
POTTY BREAK
Performing in front of a live crowd is hard. Performing without taking a break is even harder, and sadly for Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie, she had to learn it the hard way. During a 2005 performance with her former bandmates, the singer was unable to hold her bladder and accidentally peed her pants all while she was still singing on stage. To make matters worse, it was all documented on camera. Now, Fergie has to live with the knowledge that a picture of her wet stained pants will forever remain on the internet. It sure is not a pleasant memory to relive, but we do give her credit for letting the show go on. Maybe next time, she can take a five-minute break.
MARILYN MONROE MOMENT
When you are as big of a star as Taylor Swift, you best believe your fans will document every single move you make during concerts – that includes immortalizing the most embarrassing highlights. Not even her split-second Marilyn Monroe moment escaped the speed of a fan’s camera shutter. It all took place during a performance at Taylor’s Fearless Tour. What happened was that the singer got a little too close to a stage fan and accidentally revealed her backside. Fortunately, she was wearing skin-toned shorts, so she was able to avoid an awkward outcome. The moment still brought a considerable degree of embarrassment, though.
WHAT IS THAT THING I SEE?
Spray tans are often considered harmless makeup investments. However, Christina Aguilera suffered a great deal of humiliation when her innocent spray tan decided to surrender to the heat and drip down her legs. Since the liquid has a really dark orangey-maroon color, people speculated that it was something entirely different from a spray tan. Fans theorized that maybe the singer forgot that it was her time of the month and did not wear any sanitary pads. Of course, reps for Christina denied the speculations, but some people are definitely not buying the excuse. We sure hope Christina has recovered from this incident because we’re still reeling from second-hand embarrassment over here.
WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
Wardrobe malfunctions aren’t actually that big of a deal, especially in a place like Hollywood. Celebrities encounter them all the time on sets, on the red carpet events, and during guest appearances. However, no matter how common this experience is, it still doesn’t take away the discomfort celebrities feel when they, too, go through the same ordeal. Just take Sophia Vergara’s dress rip, for example. The actress was about to walk the red carpet when her sparkly blue dress accidentally ripped and revealed her backside. Fortunately, her stylist was nearby and was able to fix the problem on the spot. This goes to show that hiring a professional stylist is always a good investment, especially when you’re a celebrity.
